Staffordshire Early Years

Delegates are responsible for ensuring they have read the Staffordshire Early Years Charging Policy, courses and events hosted by Staffordshire County Council are funded. Cancellations on the day of an event (i.e. training) or delegates who do not attend without having informed the service, will be charged. Delegates or Providers booked onto training or courses should notify our service at the earliest opportunity to avoid charges and to free up the place.

If a delegate cannot attend and replacement can be sent by the childcare provider in place of the originally booked delegate. The trainer of the course must be informed of this at registration.

Delegated attendance is recorded by register. Non-attendance is also recorded, and the service may inform managers of delegates.

Certificates and evaluation

Delegates should be aware that all not all courses have certificates attributed to them. But for courses there is certificates will be issued as follows:

• Certificates - will only be issued for attendance of the full course.
• Certificates will only be released on completion of an evaluation form.
• Delegates should ensure they can attend the whole session and after the training should login to their account to complete the online evaluation and then be able to download their certificate of attendance.
