Wraparound Inclusive Practice Pathway - Introduction to Attachment and Trauma

This session will be an introduction to attachment styles, and relational and developmental trauma.

 Learning Outcomes:

• To consider the implications of attachment on child development
• To consider models that can be used to explore/support attachment needs
• To provide an overview of developmental and relational trauma
• To consider how children/young people experience trauma and the potential impacts
• To think about reframing behaviour
• To consider the Applied Trauma Responsive Classroom Model (Carter 2023).

Target Audience / Prerequisites: 

Be a provider of wraparound care.

Pre-requisites: For Wraparound Care Providers, including management and staff.
