Transitioning into Reception – support for Schools

Event Outline:

Workshop for School Settings due to receive children from Early Years Settings

Learning Outcomes:

• To understand the importance of Transition in the Early Years
• To support children with additional needs / SEND into Reception
• To support parents and families through transition
• To understand what information to receive to support the child’s transition and how to utilise it.
• Information on funding and further training

Target Audience:

School Settings only

All places must be booked through the Practitioner Hub. If you attend training without having a place booked in your name then unfortunately you will not be recorded as attending and will not receive a certificate or evaluation. Please ensure that places are cancelled if you are unable to attend.  If a booking needs to be updated as a different person from a setting will be attending, then support can be provided for this.
